236-252 Stratford High Street was a prestigous project completed by us located directly behind the Olympic Village.
A Design and Build contract with all the specification and drawings provided by us; it consisted of a total of 113 apartments set over 17 floors, the scheme had a mix of shared ownership and for sale properties, as well as a number of flats adapted for wheelchair use. We engaged in all of the installation of mechanical and plumbing services. The building has a central boiler house which homes 3 gas boilers, one being a dual fuel gas/rapeseed boiler. The dual fuel boiler is the lead boiler and provides the renewable energy requirement by planning. Each flat has a Danfoss Heating Internal Unit which supplies all the heating and hot water requirements. Individual radiators provide the heating for each dwelling. A total of 57 apartments located in the tower have a sprinkler system installed, fully concealed within the ceiling void. Promech Services were involved at an early stage of the project and played an active part in the fortnightly design meetings, which enabled us to finish this project on time, within budget and to an exceptional standard. |
