With a total number of 354 dwellings complete with the installation of all mechanical infrastructure works.
Promech were awarded the full mechanical contract for Britannia Music Site in May of 2017, and we were first given the task of taking the design of the mechanical works forward to construction. A comprehensive drainage system with P100, P50 and P.A.P.A valves, provided by Terrain on behalf of Alia Axis has been installed. This system reduces the number of penetrations through the roof spaces of the building making a more aesthetically pleasing finish without reducing functionality of a vented drainage system. The rainwater from the podium space is also collected and tops-up a rainwater harvesting system, which helps reduce the amount of water the building uses and helps with the compliance to Code for Sustainable Homes. Infrastructural works include a suitably designed Energy Centre complete with Boilers and CHP installations, BMS Controls, AOV & Environmentally Controlled Ventilation Systems, CAT5 water Services to Bin Stores, Wet riser in the 21 Storey Tower, Dry Risers, Sprinkler Systems and the distribution of LTHW and BCW pipework throughout. The apartments have installed individual Bosch Heat Interface Units with integrated Guru Payment System, Domestic Water Services to Sanitary Plumbing and the Heating to Panel Radiators. Other works included the Ground Floor Concierge which required a comprehensive Ducted Ventilation System complete with Air Handling Units and Fan Coil Units. |
